As per resolution adopted in the N.E.C. meeting held
on 11th April, 2003 at Kolkata, the West Bengal State Branch of
H.M.A.I. is going to organise XIII All India Homoeopathic
Seminar at Kolkata.
We areproud that Kolkata is the city of the great
Noble Lauretes Ronald Ross, Rabindra Nath Tagore, C. V. Raman,
Mother Teressa and Amarta Sen.
The biggest Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital of
Asia is at Calcutta. National Institute of Homoeopathy of Govt.
of India is also being run in this glorious city. It is our
pleasure of inform you that at present three Degree Colleges are
functioning in this city. The seat of Homoeopath was first
established in Bengal and in this respect we should remember
Babu Rajendra Lal Dutta, Mahendralal Sircar, Beharilal Bhaduri,
Pratap Chandra Majumdar and many other stalwarts of Homoeopathy
for their devotion to develop and spread of Homoeopathy. Pandit
Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar also devoted himself and tried utmost
for the spread of this science.
This is the city of Joy of various sight seeing spot
of different natures and tastes. We assure that you will enjoy
in this city by joining the quiz, scientific discussion and
cultural program of different tastes. You will get opportunities
of exchanging views and knowledge with each other. After all it
would be an enjoyable gathering of Homoeopaths of India, at the
Central Seat of Homoeopathy in this part of the globe.
If you look back to the history of H. M. A. I. you
will find that in the year 1975 the H. M. A. I. was formed by
amalgamation of different organisation in the heart of this
city. And Calcutta is again stepping forward to commemorate the
history by assembling the Homoeopathic Physicians and
Homoeopathic Industries of our country in this City of Joy.
Organising
