Dear doctor,
The Hitech pearl city Hyderabad which has one of the greatest monuments of
the world inherited the splendid traditional and cultural heritage of more
than 400 yrs. It has historical and beautiful tourist places like Charminar,
Golconda Fort, Ramoji Film City, Salarjung Museum, Birla Temple, Shilparamam,
Zoo, Lumbini Park, Lake with the tallest monolithic Bhudha Statue, etc.
Hyderabad off late has become the health capital of India. Not to lag
behind, the Homoeopathic System has made greater strides in this city by
leaps and bounds with the excellent and dedicated Homoeo physicians catering
to the needs of the citizens. The Andhra Pradesh government has become the
greatest patronage for Homoeopathy and gave much encouragement by involving
the Homoeopaths in controlling the epidemics in the state.
To streamline the scientific development of Homoeopathy, the Andhra Pradesh
government was kind enough to start Postgraduate course in Homoeopathy under
the able guidance of the NTR university of Health Sciences in the year 1999
with the approval of CCH. Ever increasing number of PG qualified persons
culminated in the birth of an association namely HPGA, India and in the
state of AP similarly the increased number of inservice PG qualified people
necessitated the formation of another association, viz. HPMOA. These
associations would ensure imparting better PG education in particular and
development of Homoeopathy on Scientific line in general.
So as to fulfill the aim of these associations, a national scientific
conference exclusively for postgraduates in Homoeopathy is on the anvil.
This is first of its kind in provoking an academic atmosphere to learn the
PG topics from eminent PG teachers in the country.
